Hagar Mohamed is a college senior studying Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas and she is also apprentice teaching at a school as part of UTeach, which prepares students and helps certify them for careers in teaching. Hagar grew up loving math and understanding its concepts and applications; this love was inspired by her elementary teacher, who helped her develop an interest in math and teaching. Through middle school, high school, and college, Hagar enjoyed helping her classmates understand the topics they struggled with - growing to love teaching even more through and tutored at a Math Center. Outside of academia, Hagar enjoys playing soccer, roller skating, and spray painting.
